For a long time yachtsmen had to make a choice: deserted coves or sailing close-hauled; the performance obtained from the safety of aluminum or composites. Faraway cruises required a sturdy boat, fast sailing demanded lightness...

The Allures 40 now offers exacting yachtsmen the best combination: - an aluminum hull welded by the experts of Constructions Mécaniques de Normandie whose welding processes obtain the agreement of the top super-visory bodies, - a composite superstructure which guarantees a lighter boat and improved insulation.

With her generous sailplan, her taut lines and her 2.60m. draft (center-board fully dropped), the Allures 40 can compare with any production keeler. Elegant and performant the Allures 40 is easy to manoeuvre even with a shorthanded crew; with her you will also be able to reach the most remote beaching places with her mere 0.95m. draft (centerboard fully lifted).

On starboard, you will find the now famous Allures chart table with its two facing seats; on the portside, the panoramic U-shaped galley, an element of comfort you seldom find on a sailboat of this type. For shorthanded sailing, the 2-cabin version with its storage locker, its large washroom and separate shower meets your needs. Sailing with friends? - The 3-cabin version is perfectly suitable. A numerous crew? - The Allures 40 is a one-out in its category providing a 4-cabin version.
